What is Anti-Sebum P?
Medicube's patented complex of Evening Primrose, Pueraria Root, Pine Leaf and Ginseng Extracts. It inhibits 5α-Reductase — the enzyme responsible for excess sebum production — targeting the biological cause of congested, enlarged pores rather than just managing the surface symptoms.
Do these pads exfoliate?
Yes — the formula contains 4.5% Lactic Acid (AHA) for surface exfoliation and 0.45% Salicylic Acid (BHA) to clear within the pore lining, plus Betaine Salicylate as a gentler BHA complement. Use the embossed side of the pad first, then flip to the smooth side.
Will the Alcohol Denat. dry my skin out?
Alcohol Denat. is included at a functional level as a penetration enhancer and evaporates quickly on application. The formula is balanced with Panthenol, Trehalose, Glycerin, Hyaluronate and Allantoin to maintain hydration. Clinical testing shows surface moisture increased by 15.3% after 2 weeks.
Do I need SPF?
Yes, always — AHA increases photosensitivity. Apply SPF 30+ every morning, including on days you didn't use the pads the night before.
