Are enlarged pores, excess sebum and rough, uneven texture standing between you and genuinely clear, smooth skin?
The Medicube Zero Pore Toner is a 2-in-1 exfoliating and hydrating water toner that addresses pores and sebum at their source — combining AHA, BHA and PHA with low-molecular Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide, Panthenol and Allantoin into a lightweight, alcohol-free formula that exfoliates, clears, refines and deeply hydrates all in a single step.
Countering any potential dryness from the acid complex is a generous hydration system: low-molecular Hyaluronic Acid (Sodium Hyaluronate) for deep water-binding, Xylitol for surface moisture, Panthenol for soothing and barrier repair, and Allantoin for calming and cell renewal support. Niacinamide completes the formula's trifecta of goals — brightening, pore refining and barrier strengthening — while Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Leaf Extract provides mild astringency and additional pore-tightening activity. Adenosine adds anti-ageing support. Menthyl Lactate delivers a refreshing cooling sensation on application. Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil provides antimicrobial and antioxidant properties.
No alcohol, no artificial pigments. The characteristic blue colour of the formula is naturally derived. Hypoallergenic tested.
How To Use
After cleansing, dispense an appropriate amount onto a cotton pad or directly into the palms. Apply across the entire face and neck, gently wiping or patting in the direction of skin texture. Pat any remaining essence into the skin. Allow to absorb fully before layering serum or moisturiser.
Can be used morning and/or evening. If using in the morning, always follow with SPF 30+ — AHA and BHA increase the skin's sensitivity to UV. If using AHA, BHA or other exfoliating actives elsewhere in your routine, avoid combining in the same step to prevent over-exfoliation.
Key Benefits
AHA complex (Lactic Acid + Glycolic Acid) — surface and upper-layer exfoliation, clears dead skin, improves texture and radiance
BHA (Salicylic Acid) — oil-soluble, penetrates pore lining to dissolve congestion, clear blackheads/whiteheads and reduce pore size
Adenosine — clinically approved anti-ageing active
Menthyl Lactate — refreshing cooling sensation on application
Alcohol-free, no artificial pigments — hypoallergenic tested
Clinical: pore area -27.19%, pore volume -30.64%, sebum -13.57%, blackheads/whiteheads -43.02%, dead skin -70.47% (single use), moisture +45.32% after 2 weeks
Skin Type
All skin types including oily, combination and acne-prone. Hypoallergenic tested. Those with very sensitive or reactive skin should introduce gradually — start with evenings only, 2–3 times per week, and build as tolerated.
Pregnancy: Contains Salicylic Acid (BHA). Cosmetic-level Salicylic Acid is considered low-risk but always check with your GP or midwife before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Always use SPF 30+ every morning when using this toner.
Does this toner exfoliate?
Yes — it contains a triple acid complex: AHA (Lactic Acid + Glycolic Acid) for surface exfoliation, BHA (Salicylic Acid) to penetrate and clear the pore lining, and PHA (Gluconolactone) for gentle surface smoothing. Together they improve texture, clarity and pore appearance at multiple levels.
Is it drying?
No — despite the exfoliating acids, the formula includes low-molecular Hyaluronic Acid, Xylitol, Panthenol and Allantoin to replenish and maintain hydration. Clinical testing shows moisture increased by 45.32% after 2 weeks.
Can I use it every day?
Yes, once your skin has adjusted. For first-time acid users, start with evenings only, 2–3 times per week, and build up to daily use over 1–2 weeks as your skin tolerates.
Do I need SPF?
Yes, always. AHA and BHA increase photosensitivity — apply SPF 30+ every morning without exception, including on days you didn't use the toner the night before.
Can I use it if I have sensitive skin?
It is hypoallergenic tested. Those with sensitive skin should introduce it gradually and avoid combining with other exfoliating products in the same routine step.
Is it pregnancy-safe?
It contains Salicylic Acid (BHA). Cosmetic-level Salicylic Acid is generally considered low-risk, but consult your GP or midwife before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
